THE PACE INCUBATOR PROGRAM

The Incubator Program

We’re thrilled to welcome three new businesses to Sioux Lookout through the PACE Incubator Program!

Housed in the iconic Mayfair Theatre on Front Street, this 18-month program gives local entrepreneurs the space, resources, and support they need to grow. By helping small businesses create jobs, expand their operations, and contribute to the vibrancy of our downtown, the Incubator Program is helping build a stronger, more dynamic community—one business at a time.

At PACE, we’re proud to help make that happen. We cover rent for the first 18 months of operation and provide hands-on support to each entrepreneur—including mentorship, one-on-one business counseling, and skill-building workshops. Guided by our dedicated Program Coordinator, these businesses are equipped to thrive long after the program ends.

The Mentorship Program

The PACE Mentorship Program connects entrepreneurs with experienced local business leaders for three months of goal-driven guidance and support. Mentees and mentors meet at least once a month to work through real-world challenges and opportunities. The program is flexible, practical, and designed to foster long-term growth, confidence, and connection. It's a powerful way to learn from those who’ve walked the path — and to move your business forward with a trusted ally by your side.

  • The program is open to both new and existing entrepreneurs within the PACE service area who are looking to gain insight, support, and confidence from someone with real-world business experience. Mentors are typically established business owners or professionals willing to share their knowledge and time.

  • Mentors and mentees are expected to meet at least once per month for three months, with additional meetings encouraged based on goals and availability. Both parties commit to following through on agreed-upon action steps, engaging in regular check-ins, and completing a brief follow-up process with the Program Coordinator.

  • Mentees gain personalized advice, accountability, and a fresh perspective on their business. Mentors benefit by giving back to the local business community and strengthening their own leadership and coaching skills. Many participants say the connections built through this program last well beyond the initial three months.

  • Whether you’re an experienced business owner interested in mentoring or an entrepreneur looking for guidance, the first step is simple—reach out!
