All communities within this region offer their own personal flavour and histories, further enriching this beautiful district. City of Dryden
Dryden is continually growing with an abundance of natural resources.
Lac Seul First Nation
Tourism is proving to be a developing resource in Lac Seul with an influx of lodges and resources.
Pickle Lake's expansive Boreal forests and inviting lakes bring visitors from near and far.
Ignace is focusing on several new and exciting development projects.
Eagle Lake First Nation
The service sector employs a large majority of workers, between government and other industries.
Machin is comprised of 3 communities all based on Eagle Lake with tourism, forestry and mining as top industries.
Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation
This community is nestled in old growth forests and lakes of wild rice.
Main industries in this region include Services, Forestry, Transportation and Tourism.
